Make it Happen

We all want to accomplish our dreams and aspirations in life. We strive hard and work tough just to make “it” happen.  And it’s in our own hands if we are going to hit the bull’s eye and achieve! And with that I give to you my outfit post. YESSS! Lately I’ve been into many heartbreaks and heartaches because of certain things. So I wanted to have a drama-ish blog today. (SRSLY?) J Kidding, the inspiration of this blog post is the campaign of Makati, which is “Make it happen, make it Makati” and I shoot this outfit post in Ayala Triangle. And this is it. Hope you like it guys! J

What I wear: Mint green Polo (Chemistry), Black denim jeans (Jag), Brown leather loafers (Milanos), Brown Satchel Bag (Parisian).

So I got this polo from (Chemistry), what I love about it, is the color. It’s pleasing and cool to the eyes, and it’s very comfortable to wear. Also this color makes your complexion lighter. I got those cute John Lennon sunnies from Divisoria (THE FAMOUS DIVISORIA!!!)! J It’s so chic and cheap, I added it in my look to give a statement and a new outlook.

Brown leather loafers from Milanos. I love this one because of its comfort ability. And you can totally partner it with polo and denim pants as well as with a tank top and a denim shorts. HYPE!!! J

I got this brown satchel bag in Parisian. I love this bag because of its stylish design and the color!!! J Satchel bags are really in and I think everyone has it.  Who doesn't want a satchel bag? NO ONEEEE! J

One of my favourite shots in the bunch, so candid! So me! Awkward but its fine! J

Ayala Triangle is really a place for relaxation. In the fast forward world of Makati this is the place where you can sit down and appreciate the nature and the cool breeze.

And may I present to you my equally talented and fab photographer! KWEILIN!!! We really had a great time shooting in Ayala Triangle. She’s a damn good and passionate photographer! J Thank youuuuu!

After a long day, we decided to eat in Chef Lau’s Pugon Roasters. MY FIRST TIME!!!! And Im so excited. And please allow me to say that they really have a good choices of food. And a very delicious roasted chicken!!!! YUM!!!

It’s my first time to blog about food. Allow me please? J This is their best seller Pugon roast Chicken. And it’s really good. I love the tenderness of the chicken and the original recipe of it. And the good news is, it’s only 99 pesos. Can you believe that? WOW!!! J

After the Pugon roast Chicken it’s time for dessert!!! We ordered Chunky Monkey cake and their Halo-Halo sundae. And I must say they levelled up the Halo Halo experience that I had. Specially they added soft sundae and it really completed my Halo Halo experience. For the best part, the Chunky Monkey Cake, I just love it! The Chunky monkey cake has chopped bananas inside, topped with vanilla frosting, and the crust! DELICIOUS!!!J

If you have time guys visit Chef Lau’s Pugon Roasters. Surely you will have a great time! This made my day! And they have friendly and good set of service crews! LOVE IT!  :)

So that’s it! Thank you guys!!! Don’t forget to HYPE my looks in LOOKBOOK! J Love you everyone! J

Contemporary

They say fashion innovates in just a snap of a finger, and it is even just a cycle, time to time it changes but we still embrace the conventional fashion. I must say I am a big fan of Vintage fashion. My inspiration with this look is with the contemporary clothing of men back in years. As we all know men back then are into “tuck-ins”. I think the good points of tucking your top is that it gives a new look and angle to it.  Just like what I did with this look, I tucked my polo shirt to look more simple but cutting the edge. J

What I wear: Polo Shirt (Topman), Denim Pants (Dorothy Perkins), Maroon Eye Shoes (Milanos)

What I love about polo shirts is that it never goes out of style. I think for men’s fashion a polo shirt is a must have. For me polo shirts are a relief for shirts, and it really gives an edgier at the same time pleasant look for boys.

Who says polo shirts are boring? With the right matching and with a little bit of fashion-know-how, you can totally rock it! Don’t forget to HYPE my looks in LOOKBOOK. Bye for now! J

Pop Culture

I decided to name my second look “Pop culture”, because nowadays there are many phenomena’s, ideas and icons that become popular in their own cultures. So with that, I decided to hail Rihanna as the Queen of Pop Culture.  I admire Rihanna’s fashion sense, her clothes really ensembles her personality.  I know some individuals don’t adore her looks but for me it’s really a fashion orgasm whenever I see Rihanna’s collection. So my second look is inspired by street fashion style of Rihanna. J

What I wear: DIY Acid Wash Denim Vest, Rihanna Muscle Tee (SM Department Store), Black Jeans (Jag), Maroon Eye Shoes (Milanos)

I got this shirt form Sm Department Store for a very desirable price. When I saw this shirt my heart stops because I always wanted a shirt that has Rihanna’s face on it. And I can proudly say that I’m part of Rihanna Navy! YES! J So when I saw this, I immediately bought it. And I must say this is a good buy! J

And now let’s go to the highlight of this look, the Denim vest. DIY!!!! J It came from my mom’s closet (OF COURSE!!!), the thing that I did for this denim vest is I just soaked it in Zonrox  (Chlorine) and after an hour the color fades and it became exactly what I wanted it to be. Just a reminder: We don’t always shop for new clothes; check your mom’s closet or yours first. Who knows with just a little accessorizing and renovating, you will have your own fashion must have item. J

I got this maroon eye shoes from Milanos; one of my favorite local shoe store. Whenever I look for a shoes I never forget to drop by in Milanos because for sure there will always be a good shoes that will really fit me and my money. J When I saw these shoes, I grab the opportunity to buy it because it looks like an authentic Doc Martens eye shoes. And the best part is it has a friendly price. (Which I LOVE the most!!!) J

They say that the most fashionable people you will encounter are on streets. Dare to do street fashion. So don’t settle for clothes that will not define you. You can have a best impression just in the way you carry yourself and your outfit. Fashion shows are not limited to catwalks or runways; you can turn your own boulevards into a runway just with the right matching of clothes. So that’s it guys! Till next blog post! Don’t forget to HYPE my looks in LOOKBOOK. Fierce & Love! J

Native

Happy New Year Everyone! I want to start my year with a bang, that’s why I did one of my New Year’s Resolutions, and that is to have my own blog.  I am very happy that it is happening right now. I’ve been posting my looks in Lookbook since last year and I know it’s kind of late to have my looks in my own blog. But at least I have one now. So my first look is Native, and basically it’s all about brown palette. The color brown for me is very natural and you don’t need a lot just to standout, I think the color itself speaks for it!

What Im Wearing: Pink Polo (Dynasty), Brown Cardigan (Mom’s Closet), Thrifted Black Pants, Brown Oxford Shoes (Milanos), Thrifted Brown Belt, Brown Satchel Bag (Hip ‘N Chic Shop)

I got this pink polo from Dynasty, a local store and I partnered it with my mom’s vintage brown cardigan. I just love this brown cardigan because it’s vintage (I love vintage!!!) and of course my mom gave it to me and it really suits the weather nowadays. Btw. I am very happy because my mom supports me in everything that I do, I can say I am a lucky and blessed kid. That is why I named my blog as “Mom’s Closet” because she inspired me to dress up. And some of my clothes are from her closet! (Except for her dresses) J

This brown oxford shoes are from Milanos. I love these shoes because I can use it in all of my clothes. I can use it wearing shorts; brown pants and still it stand out. And the best part is, it’s not that expensive compare to other oxford shoes. So I can say this is a good buy!

I got this bag last year in our Christmas Party. I am very lucky that my partner knows me, and she has a good taste in fashion so she ended up giving me satchel bag. She said she got it from her friend’s online shop which is Hip ‘N Chic. I can say this bag is really hip!

So in our course, which is Mass Communication major in Public Relations, every Friday is a corporate attire day. I am stunned when I saw some of my friends wearing clothes with brown palette. And they're really rockin’ their clothes.

What a good choice, Aztec print dress with brown coat and brown flats, a very sophisticated and trendy look.

The bandage skirt says it all. It really matched the printed top and the black coat. Very stylish yet professional!

What I love about these look is the blue peplum, It standout in the brown skirt plus the chic black bag. What a classy look! I must say my friends really have these fashion senses. Definitely we can speak fashion! J

So that's it for now! Happy New Year everyone. I hope you get a good one! Don'y forget to hype my looks in Lookbook
